Through our collaboration with Zero Waste Malaysia under the Green Wira Programme 2024, Cikgu Rosmira from SMK Taman Melawati received RM15,000 in seed funding to implement the EcoSmart Energy project at her school.
The project aims to reduce electricity and water wastage through the use of energy-efficient technologies, including an LED lighting system, photocells, and a rainwater harvesting system. Despite being transferred to SMK Sungai Pusu before the project began, Cikgu Rosmira remained committed to seeing it through.
