Datin Dr. Norrizan is currently the Founder and Managing Director of Tech Capacity Sdn Bhd.
Datin Dr. Norrizan was the Business Development Manager at Apple from 2016 to 2018 and the Education Director of Microsoft from 2013 to 2016. Before joining Microsoft, she was the Senior Manager of Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) from 2001 to 2013 and the Senior Analyst of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies from 1995 to 2000. Datin Dr. Norrizan was also a Lecturer at the Faculty of Education at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) from 1987 to 1995.
Datin Dr. Norrizan is also a member of the advisory board of the Faculty of Computing and Technology and META of the Education University of Sultan Idris (UPSI) since 2024. She has also served as the industry advisor for the Centre of Instructional Technology and Multimedia, University of Science Malaysia (USM) between 2018 and 2023. She was previously the Adjunct Faculty of Inti International University from 2018 to 2019.
Datin Dr. Norrizan has also served on various boards of corporations. From 2018 to 2021, she was the Independent, Non-Executive Director of Pelangi Publishing Group Berhad. Datin Dr. Norrizan was also the Chairman of the Board of Governors of GEMS International School at Pearl City, Penang and Tropicana Metropark from 2018 to 2021. She was a Director of Malaysia Danish Business Council from 2018 to 2020 and was the Honorary Advisory of Malaysia Digital Education Association from 2018 to 2019.
