Discover how we help to transform the lives of marginalised communities in Bentong with a holistic approach spanning Education, Community Investments, and Environment initiatives.
School of Hope aims to enhance students’ holistic outcomes at two schools in Bentong, Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Piatu and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Khai Mun.
School of Hope includes A-Star programme, partnering with LeapEd Services to foster, nurture and empower learning cultures that unlock unique potential of each learner from academic excellence to leadership and confidence.
Under this initiative, we have also partnered with Yayasan Pelajaran MARA and Pandai to offer EduTuition and provide free premium online learning application subscriptions to help 90 students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Khai Mun boost their academic achievements.
Delivered in partnership with Saora Industries, this initiative provides local community members in Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Kepong, Kampung Orang Asli Bukit Telaga, Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Penjuring, and Kampung Orang Asli Kelit with farming and business skills—enhanced by digital technology—that enable them to grow more nutritious crops and increase their income by up to RM600 per month. Areas of digital learning include the Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, drone technology and digital marketing.
The initiative also provides solar-powered systems and clean water filtration, which improves their living conditions, reduces their dependence on external aid, and empowers them to lead a self-sufficient life.
By providing a pathway to better livelihoods, we aim to end the cycle of poverty that has plagued these communities and inspire the younger generation to become agripreneurs, thereby maintaining the rich traditions that have defined these proud communities.
Through this initiative, we are empowering students in Bentong to create a lasting positive impact by educating them on the realities of the climate emergency, thus spurring proactive steps toward sustainable living.
Together with Forest Interactive Foundation (FIF), we ignited the spark of change in 30 students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Piatu with an enriching blend of classroom learning, industry insights, field trips, design thinking workshops, mentorship, and a competitive framework-pitching event, all designed to inspire a culture of sustainable innovation within the community and beyond.
By nurturing the next generation of local eco-warriors, we aim to see them become visionary leaders who will foster not only a vibrant and sustainable Bentong but also serve as an inspiration for other communities to follow.
